KIRFers up again with COPY Nokia N900, a handset which is trademark proof…

Posted: 29 Sep 2009 06:18 AM PDT

Keepin’ it real fake, hmm the KIRFers are again in, after all those faking up and name changes they have been involved in, ripping those brands into fake names like Sany Ericssan. Wondering what are they up to this time? Copying is an art, and the KIRF mantra truly depicts it, be decent in that and "give it not just a100 but a 110", is the actual thing these folks follow, as for now NOKLA is the real "Nokia".

The Copy Nokia 900 a true mirror-image misses on the few basic things though. The QWERTY slider and the Maemo 5 are just the two worth mentioning this edition of the handset misses on.

So, if you have the power to tolerate dismal VGA cam, QVGA screen and the GPRS data, then there’s something more for you, and analog. Yes you’ve read it right an analog, so wanna know more about this fun and usable feature just wait for the next news…

Samsung Trill and Caliber approaching US Cellular

Posted: 28 Sep 2009 02:49 AM PDT

US Cellular is presently too big as a carrier to rule a few select handsets of its self — especially from a manufacturer like Samsung that somehow deals with to announce about fifteen novel models a day, round the year, not actually, but it’d be uncomplicated to sense what they did proviso you didn’t give attention.

See these two handsets, for example; first one is the music inclined Samsung r520 Trill slider shown left, which works out on ICEpower signal processing of Bang & Olufsen, and onboard memory of 1GB, expandable to a maximum of 33GB as its main features.

Shown in the right is Samsung r850 Caliber, a handset with full-touch 3.2-inch WQVGA display screen, TouchWiz, a 3 MP camera with video capture facility and complete HTML browsing — not scruffy, if the price is reasonable.

We don’t know about pricing or availability of either of these two phones just yet, however we’ll stay you in the sphere.

Samsung Instinct HD hands-on

Posted: 26 Sep 2009 12:15 PM PDT

Finally, we got this second best in the mail at the moment and naturally opened it from its packing.

We must admit that we’re impressed by the look of the handset and the general sensitivity of the touchscreen, despite the fact that the software gives the impression to be sharp off a lot in excess of it can masticate when it draws closer to getting something like.

We observed more than our reasonable share of lag while moving from screen to screen, although there were times whilst the Instinct HD in point of fact felt truly snappy.

We up till now can’t tell you’d be reasonable in dropping a quiet $249.99 on this handset especially with choices akin to the Tour, Pre, Hero, and forthcoming Pixi, other than if you’re an Instinct aficionado.

Successor of Samsung Pixon 12 all set to capture South Korean markets

Posted: 26 Sep 2009 06:07 AM PDT

Samsung has always been an example of leading from the front. Another great camera phone from Samsung is all set to take South Korea by storm.

Speculations are that this latest version of Samsung camera phones is in line with the Pixon 12 will be available in South Korea in the coming months.

The phone which will be available by the name SCH-W880 will carry all the features of the European version of the 12 MP phones only with minor differences. With no Wi-Fi and GPS features in the SCH-W880, they could be some of the functions which are missing from the European counterpart.

But with a 3xOptical Zoom, LED flash and a handy grip this camera phone will be a perfect gift from Samsung to its homeland South Korea.
