Now in the crop of eco-friendly handsets, the new entry has been marked by the Samsung S7550 also called the Blue Earth. The most advanced member of this crop, the Blue Earth has features like GPS, Wi-Fi and TouchWizadry in its arsenal.

With Sweden getting the first hands-on experience, the handset has already begun shipping, with other countries to soon follow the release. With the LG GD510 Pop, released already, the Blue Earth from Sammy is now the new member boasting about everything eco-friendly.

The LG snatching away the European Green Award this year, Samsung needs to be pretty much tactful with its S7550 to save the counterblow from upturning its fame.

The competition all set to get intense the next year, the Sammy’s new entrant still out-pars most of the other phones, after being embarked as "The first solar-powered Smartphone's" ever released.
