Though Nokia has shifted its vision towards the more growing market of the Windows Phone 7 yet the company is slated to launch this MeeGo model late this year. The report did not confirm the photos of this model although the company assured of Symbian, MeeGo, Qt and S40. As per the sayings of Nokia's CTO, Rich Green the platforms of various models are going to see a major shift in their design, look and hardware specs. The report came on the occasion of Nokia's Developer Day, when the boss confirmed that the company is working hard to launch this model since very peculiar and more robust applications, specs and UI are now available with the company. N9 (expected to be next MeeGo device) has been canceled. It is considered that this MeeGo device is not for the mass customers rather it is for the global developers all over the world. The sole aim of the company is pushing the technology from the Qt, Symbian platforms to the much anticipated Java Series 40 platforms. The report further confirms that S40 will bring the latest Ovi browser to browse the internet for millions of people. |
