It has not been days since Nokia has announced its first 1GHz Symbian Smartphone in the name of Nokia 500. The mobile has all the hardware specs similar to that of Nokia C5-03 although some of the key features have been thoroughly revamped. The price tag has been kept under the pocket. You can cover the connectivity with 14.4 MBPS HSDPA and 5.8 HSUPA, GPS and Wi-Fi. It also has got standard 3.5mm audio jack, charging USB port, microSD card and 2 GB of internal memory. All the consumers will definitely find the screen quite selective in nature. The 3.2 inch capacitive screen with the resolution of 640 into 360 pixels offers better visibility. Apart from it, there are 5 MP cameras on the back of Nokia 500.

The Smartphone has also got additional two color back covers that will automatically adjust the screen wallpaper as in the case of N79. It seems that the availability of the 1 GHz CPU has not improved the mobile's performance with some instances of cluttering in the scrolling action. The company is considering launching the Smartphone in Q3 in black along with the assumption that it will also come in Q4, with six different color panels.
