The N900 now shipping has truly marked the beginning of the Nokia’s Maemo based technology. Now ready to give hands on experience to especially those pre-order customers, the real deal is still under veil.

Is it just a new product or the real one to bring in that mass market hype, or the actual device that will make Nokia achieve that top end portfolio or simply the first step to a new platform, all these questions will soon be answered, for now just wait and watch!

The device all set to unveil in the Middle East, Europe, North America and Russia soon, its speculated not to show compatibility with the 3G SIM card in UK from 3. Defective Nokia chargers will be taken back with new replacement

It is reported that some Nokia's chargers sold after April were defective and Nokia will be taking action to appease its customers by replacing them. It is found that all of these defective chargers were third part made and sold both as box accessory and as separate item.

It is found that between June 15, 2009 to August 9, 2009, AC-3U and AC-3E, have been defectively manufactured. And from April 13, 2009 to October 25, 2009, AC-4U has also been defectively manufactured. BYD has manufactured above mentioned defective chargers.

These chargers are not electrically tested well, they can cause hazard when plugged in, and also their plastic cover is loose can easily fall away. Though fortunately there is no injury has happened but it is advisable to be cautious.

It is recommend that if anyone is using above mentioned chargers and purchased during given time period. He can go to Nokia's site they have charger replacement program. You can find all the info related to your charger type with the help of given diagram.

Samsung pays Qualcomm a fortune to use its patented services

Samsung like always a brand that is known for its authenticity and legitimacy has now made news by signing an agreement with Qualcomm, according to which, Sammy has to pay a huge amount of 1.3 billion US dollars, for the patents this company owns.

Just after the dispute which happened between Nokia and Apple a week back, Samsung too afraid to get name on all such matters has paid almost a fortune to Qualcomm, the CDMA patent holder to use its services like CDMA, OFDMA and CDMA on all its devices.

The Qualcomm earning almost a half of its yearly income of 2009 in just one single go from Samsung although has said that this is the lowest deal for this Korean company. Any ways all still unveiled, the actual amount has still not been revealed but the company sure has to pay some royalties for another 15 years… we guess.

Nokia now brings handsets that are really light on the customer’s pocket

Handsets like Maemo and Symbian powered ones have always made news but what about the ones that have broken all records for being the lowest priced on the list? Although a not so talked about thing, but Nokia has now brought to the world the 1280, with a price tag of only €20 or $29.5 unsubsidized.

Breaking its own mark, this new member of Nokia comes as a novice five pack of emerging handsets on the market today bringing in devices including candy bar models and others like 1616 and 1800 for only €4 and €6 more. The others on the list are the 2220 slider and also the 2690 candy bar that is little higher with a tag of €45 and €54.

Killer battery life, FM, extended battery backup and stand by time making them ideal to use where power is a problem, the people at Indonesia will be the first to get a hands on experience of these little monsters from Nokia in early December this year. Well, for all others wait and wait and wait, but not too long mind it!
